There are a few options for concrete lifting & leveling, but our method of choice works like this:
- First, we drill a small hole (just 5/8 of an inch wide) through your concrete and inject a polyurethane material through it into the gap underneath the slab.
- Next, the polyurethane will begin to expand, filling the gap and shifting the soil. After about 10-15 seconds, it will have expanded as far as it can, filling up all available space and packing the soil in around it.
- Once the polyurethane foam encounters resistance in the horizontal plane from the soil around it, it will begin to expand vertically. As this happens, the chemical taking place in the poly material will make it stronger—strong enough to push the concrete up from where it had fallen and make it straight and level again.
